CSIO4* Sopot 2026
From 11–14 June, the Sopot Hippodrome will once again become the capital of show jumping. The official LOTTO CSIO Sopot 2026 International Equestrian Competition is one of the most important events on the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) calendar in this part of Europe. The total prize fund for the event will reach €244,900, and the starting list will feature some of the world’s leading riders.
CSIO4* and CSI1* Competition, Plus the Nations Cup
The event will be held across two competition levels. Alongside the demanding CSIO4* classes, riders will also compete in the CSI1* category, designed for a broader range of horse-and-rider combinations. Previous editions have shown that the Sopot course consistently delivers thrilling sporting moments, while spectators regularly witness flawless performances at the highest level.
For the Polish team, competing on home soil is one of the highlights of the season. The centerpiece of the programme will be the *Nations Cup (CSIO4)**, taking place on Friday, 12 June. Fourteen national teams from around the world will take part. Alongside Poland and the defending champions from Belgium, spectators will see teams from countries including France, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Argentina, Japan, Colombia, and South Africa. Only the top eight teams will advance to the second round.
Let’s support the Polish team! We encourage everyone to wear red clothing or accessories on Friday and help create a sea of red in the stands to cheer on our riders.
“LOTTO CSIO Sopot is not only a sporting competition but also a tradition that we have built together with the residents of Sopot and equestrian fans from across Poland. This year’s prize fund of nearly a quarter of a million euros, combined with the participation of fourteen strong national teams, guarantees a world-class spectacle. We are proud that the Sopot Hippodrome is once again becoming the centre of the equestrian world,” says Kaja Koczurowska-Wawrzkiewicz, President of the Sopot Hippodrome.
The sporting excitement continues on Saturday with a class counting towards the Longines World Ranking, while the highlight of the entire weekend will be the prestigious Grand Prix on Sunday, 14 June, featuring obstacles up to 160 cm in height.
CSIO Sopot Young Stars: Big Emotions, Rising Talent
Alongside the experienced riders, the Sopot arena will also showcase the next generation of equestrian talent through the CSIO Sopot Young Stars competition. To earn a place in the event, the youngest riders first had to successfully navigate a demanding nationwide qualification process based on riding style competitions. As a result, the country's most promising young equestrians will compete at the Sopot Hippodrome in three diverse events: a riding style competition assessing precision and technique, an exciting team competition, and the undisputed highlight of the weekend — a fun-filled and entertaining costume class. It is a unique opportunity to witness extraordinary passion and the pure joy of pony riding in front of the Sopot audience.
Open Picnic and Family Zone
LOTTO CSIO Sopot 2026 is also four days of attractions designed for residents of the Tri-City area and visiting tourists. The open picnic zone will feature spectacular Hobby Horse competitions, dog agility demonstrations, and live DJ sets. Visitors will also be able to enjoy a food court with a variety of food trucks, as well as the Expo Zone, showcasing exhibitors from the equestrian and lifestyle industries."Raising the organizational standard year after year is possible thanks to the commitment of our partners and sponsors. Their support, trust, and long-term cooperation allow this event to continue growing and enable us to create an increasingly attractive experience for both spectators and competitors. We are extremely grateful for their involvement," emphasizes Agnieszka Maziarka, Press Officer of LOTTO CSIO Sopot 2026.
